SD, Faircatch Clothing enter sponsorship agreement
Newark, DE/Anchorage, AK -- Oct. 27, 2006 -- Fresh off its victory in the 2006 Zippo Hot Tour competition, Delaware-based rock band Stealing December announced a sponsorship deal with Alaska's Faircatch Clothing Company on Friday.

"We are more than excited to work with Stealing December because they have proven themselves with fans across the country as a brand new band that is most definitely going to break through," Faircatch owner Jon Dyson said. "We are really excited to all grow and succeed together."

Stealing December, comprised of Brandon Langer, Ryan Mullen and brothers Joe and Michaelangelo Ristano, will represent the clothing company across the country during its run on the 20-date Zippo Hot Tour, starring five-times platinum Geffen recording artist Papa Roach.

"We really think Faircatch will be a great fit for us," Stealing December bassist Joe Ristano said. "All the band members liked what we saw from Faircatch's clothes and we look forward to promoting and spreading the word about Jon's company on the road this fall."

Stealing December emerged as the Philadelphia region's finalist in the Zippo Hot Tour in late September. The band then received the most online votes at www.zippohottour.com during the first two weeks of October, beating out nine other bands from across the country to earn the right to open for Papa Roach, hed(p.e.) and Bullets & Octane.

As part of its prize package, Stealing December will also showcase in Los Angeles for A & R representatives at Geffen in hopes of earning its first major-label recording contract. The band's performances on the 2006 Zippo Hot Tour commence Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia.
